Independent testing by the University of Wales Trinity St David showed that Sprint Filter's P08 polyester filter provides the best airflow among leading brands, including race filters. The P08F1-85, however, offers nearly three times the airflow of the P08 while maintaining similar filtration performance, making it suitable for both moderate road use and racing.

The P08F1-85 uses a special polyester material with a 22-micron wire diameter. Designed for road racing, it features patented waterproof technology, making it unique in its class. Its weave pattern filters debris as small as 85 microns and offers the highest permeability among air filters.
